FENDI 100: A Century of Style and Spirit

Marking its centenary, FENDI celebrates 100 years of creativity, craftsmanship, and Roman elegance. Founded in 1925 by Edoardo and Adele Fendi, the House’s legacy continues to evolve under the direction of Silvia Venturini Fendi, who reimagines the past through a lens of modernity with the Fall/Winter 2025–2026 collection.

A Journey Through Time

The collection, titled Lo Spirito del Tempo (“The Spirit of Time”), captures the dual essence of memory and innovation. Venturini Fendi reflects on the brand’s archives not as nostalgia, but as inspiration—where five generations of artistry converge with the energy of the present.

The show brings to life the timeless glamour of FENDI’s world—its historic Roman ateliers, opulent salons, and the allure of alta sartoria. Each piece tells a story of craftsmanship handed down through generations, blending irony, sensuality, and Roman sophistication.

The Art of FENDI Tailoring

From sculptural silhouettes to refined materials, FENDI’s tailoring prowess shines in every detail. Coats cocoon the body in lambskin and wool, while dresses sculpt movement with gold-belted waists and marbled pleats. Colour becomes emotion—deep forest greens, graphite, and petrol blue recall Rome at dusk, fading into sunset hues of buttermilk, terracotta, and scarlet.

The collection redefines power dressing with restructured trench coats, oversized cabans, and jewel-toned cardigans layered with ease and grandeur. Men’s and women’s pieces blur boundaries through luxurious shearling, tactile leathers, and artistic knitwork.

Accessories Reimagined

The FENDI 100 Accessories Collection bursts with retro-futurist glamour. Iconic bags like the Spy, Peekaboo, and Baguette return in dazzling new forms—twisted handles, disco sequins, and mirrored embroideries. The new FENDI Giano bag, with its moon-shaped silhouette, nods to innovation and duality, while the Lui Soft duffel and Maxi Charm accessories celebrate craftsmanship and sustainability through upcycled materials.

A Century of Craft

Delfina Delettrez Fendi’s jewellery for the centenary shines in fur-like textures and sculptural brilliance—serpent chain bracelets, chandelier earrings, and bold FF pendants. Each piece embodies the eternal duality of FENDI: opulent yet light as air.

A Family Legacy

The centenary show was inaugurated by Dardo and Tazio, the young sons of Delfina Delettrez Fendi and Nico Vascellari, symbolizing the continuity of the family spirit. Soundtracked by the voices of Barry White, Mina, and Franco Battiato, the show echoed through time—an ode to heritage, innovation, and the timeless allure of Italian craftsmanship.

At Centria Mall, FENDI continues to embody the essence of Roman luxury—where heritage meets modernity, and fashion becomes art. Visit the FENDI boutique to experience the world of FENDI 100 and discover the pieces that define a century of style.
